First signs of problems with the transmission is usually the fluids. If you go to check the fluid with a dipstick it can give you a sign. If you notice that the fluid level is always low then that might be a sign of a leak.If the fluid has a burnt smell or is dark in color then that is a sure sign of problems.So to be sure that your car does not suffer any major problems with the transmission make sure that you check your fluids regularly.
